Why Poker is Not a Training Site

When we hear the word poker, we think that this is a gentleman’s game, a sport for Grillians and Romans where men are their tools and no women are to be trusted. Well I am here to say that I disagree. Poker is a training site for losers. Sure, you can learn how to stick jives, play cards, play favorites and all the other basic things big winners do, but unless you start with a high hand and work your way up, there are no big winners in Bo Togel Terpercaya.

Poker has been taken out of the222million women in the USA by celebrities like Ben Affleck who plays in the264 million dollar Good For immoral complete with pretend charitable intent. All that remains is to say that men are evil and women are the way to go thoughts on poker. It is a brilliant strategy to say the least.

I agree that you can learn how to play the game, that’s why I started eight years ago. Since then I’ve learned how much more of a game than I ever learned in those early days and I’ve never looked back. Why? Probably because at my age you can’t just learn one thing and suddenly go from nothing to millions. So when I see somebody suggest that you can learn one strategy in poker and suddenly proceed to teach you every aspect of poker well actually I see the beginning of your career in gambling. You see it’s all filled with winners.

As a successful gambler, turned poker star I’ve had the opportunity to teach some things that even the most storied poker coach couldn’t. These are things like how to absolutely destroy your opponents in position play, pot odds, money management, bluffing, and inflection points. These are skills that I learned how to win big pots in cash games. As a result, when I teach players that I coach, they ask me how I know so many other players. I don’t just have a one trick, I have many.

Don’t let a bit of poker training sway you, especially if you already have a few questions about the game. When I was in Las Vegas one time, I saw a small group of guys playing a game, almost friendly, almost co-operative. They were playing for small pots and talking amongst themselves. I said to myself that’s poker, guys are friends at the poker table. I told them that if they wanted to learn how to play poker, I was sure they would be great. Well within a few hands they turned into total poker junkies. I told them, you play poker to become better, not just to play again.

After I return home, sometimes I still try to teach, but most of the students that I return with are complete fools who have no idea about the game. For all of these reasons, I have gradually become a strict poker player. When I became too indulged in the game, I lost most of the things that made me successful as a player. Fortunately, getting too much of poker and gambling won’t kill the fun, and playing against players that don’t know much about the game, at least not in the beginning, these players are easy to defeat. It helps to have a fairly good hand to start with, but as you play more and more games of poker, the amount of time spent actually playing them, and the amount of hands dealt, will shrink the learning curve.
